• Every team is guaranteed 3 matches

• The three best teams in the groups get a trophy

TOURNAMENT FEE

The tournament fee is sent by e-mail/mail. The registration is accepted finally when the tournament fee has been paid. The tournament fee won’t be returned after 27.7.2012 even if the team cancels the arrival.

COMPETITION RULES

The rules of the SSBL are used in the tournament with the following exceptions. The tournament is refereed by SSBL referees. The refereeing is included in the tournament fee. The team can use all of its players within a match. There can only be two over-aged players in the rink at once. A player doesn’t need to have a SSBL license but insurance is recommended. The organizer is not responsible for covering the expenses caused by injuries to players. The organizer is not responsible for lost possessions either.

The playing time is 3x15 min (B to C-juniors), 2X15 min (D to E-juniors), 2x10 min (F-juniors), of which the last two minutes are effective playing time. (The clock is stopped whenever the referee whistles). The match is stopped when the goal difference reaches twelve.

TIME OUTS

Time outs are not used in group matches. However, in the finals the teams have a possibility to use a time out

The order in the groups if tied in points:

Points in mutual matches
Goal difference in mutual matches
Scored goals in mutual matches
Goal difference in the group
Scored goals in the group
Allotment

2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and no points for a loss.

FINALS

After the group matches, the game is decided by shoot-out without overtime if tied. Each team selects three shooters.

PROTESTS

The tournament  jury handles the protests. If a team sees necessary to file a protest in the events or refereeing of a single match, the team must file a written report within 20 minutes after the match has ended. The protest is taken to the tournament info with a 100 € fee, which is returned if the protest is accepted.

FORFEITS

If a team doesn’t have a starting line-up of five players and a goalie when the match is due to begin, the team has forfeited the match. If there is a justifiable reason, the match can be postponed, only if the other matches are not delayed. If there is no justifiable reason for the team being late, the team can be shut from the tournament. The tournament jury solves the cases.

TOURNAMENT PASSES

The team has the possibility to acquire tournament passes. You can also get discounts with the pass for example from the Lappeenranta McDonalds. The list of players, the type of tournament pass and the sizes of the t-shirts must be sent by 27.7.2012 to sauli.hynynen@nst-lappeenranta.fi
